Rhonda from Knoxville Tennessee asks:
I have a swim spa that is fourteen feet long and about eight feet wide. I really want to use it year round, but am afraid of my heating bill in the winter. Can I get a spa cover, with foam to insulate, the size I need?
Hello Rhonda,
The short answer is yes! Swim spas work just as well with hot tub covers as any regular size spa would. The seal of the cover is made by where the cover sits on the top of the acrylic lip, and that works the same no matter what size your swim spa is.
Here is an example of a swim spa with a cover on it! The maximum width of a panel for any spa cover is four feet. Since this swim spa has a 4 panel cover, this particular swim spa can be up to 16 feet long!
The width of swim spas tend to be eight feet or less. Should you swim spa be over 96 inches up to 102 inches, typically there is a small additional charge for the oversize foam that will be required. Typically, this foam size also requires 1.5 pound density foam as well, to have the strength needed to span the extra distance.
Happy Swimming!

I have been browsing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article
like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion,
if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will
be a lot more useful than ever before.
